Flax Fields Are Ford

When I think about flax fields,

my mind goes to the story Danica Lorer tells of a young prairie boy who meets a prairie mermaid in a field (sea) of blue. On the prairies, you notice that the fields have fences so the mermaids can not escape. No mermaids were harmed in these photographic sessions. Danica is a professional storyteller; if you ever hear her, ask her about the prairie mermaid story.
