This year I decided that I would spend time enjoying my garden by spending a significant amount of time photographing it. We have lived here since 2009. Although I have helped maintain the yard, I haven’t enjoyed spending time out there, due to my allergies. There is nothing like air conditioning comfort for itchy eyes.
The fruits of my efforts are located on the pages entitled Photography - My Back Yard - 2019. I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I have taking them. Making the effort to enjoy the garden made me realize how many different varieties we have and how each plant has its own beauty. The intricacies of the potato flower or that of a tomato are special when you view them up close.
For this photography I use my Nikon Micro 105 mm lens to get close ups. Somehow I still can’t get some of these in focus. Must be the old age shakes.
